His sharp financial acumen and leadership ensure that both the Scout team and its clients make informed, results-driven financial decisions.

In addition to his role at Scout, Gil is a distinguished Enrolled Agent (EA), recognized for his deep knowledge of tax laws and comprehensive financial services. He has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor, helping individuals and businesses navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence. With over 35 years of experience as an accountant and auditor, Donna Gaddis has built a strong reputation in the medical and non-profit sectors. A graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting, she has successfully secured over $25 million in grants and managed large-scale organizations, showcasing her expertise in grant writing, financial management, and strategic planning.

Throughout her career, Donna has worked closely with non-profits, healthcare organizations, and mission-driven enterprises, helping them navigate complex financial landscapes, maintain compliance, and optimize funding opportunities. Her deep understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and fiscal sustainability has made her a trusted advisor in the industry.

Currently, Donna consults across private and non-profit sectors through her Passion on Purpose mentoring modules, where she provides strategic financial guidance and leadership development. Eli Remba leads the tax and accounting operations for Scout Financial, partnering closely with clients to deliver thoughtful, proactive tax solutions. Eli earned his accounting degree at the University of Oregon and is a California-licensed CPA. He brings both technical expertise and a strategic mindset to every engagement, serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

With a strong depth of experience in real estate accounting and taxation, Eli is especially well versed in helping clients navigate their real estate activities, including property sales, short-term rentals, and 1031 exchanges. He brings a detail-oriented approach to structuring transactions and maximizing tax efficiency. In addition to real estate, he has served clients across a wide range of industries, including entertainment, food and beverage, legal, and medical, allowing him to deliver tailored tax strategies that drive meaningful savings and long-term value.

Kevin Martinez is a dedicated financial services professional with over 15 years of experience helping businesses thrive. He began his career at Bank of America, where he spent 13 years working with a diverse portfolio of clients. After serving as a Middle Market Banker at City National Bank, Kevin took on a role as a Commercial Banker at First Citizens Bank, acting as a “quarterback” for clients and prospects to deliver the bank’s full range of financial solutions—such as cash flow and asset-based lending, real estate financing, and treasury management services

Originally from Los Angeles, Kevin earned a B.A. in Management from the University of La Verne and has completed his Drucker MBA with a concentration in Strategy at Claremont Graduate University. Committed to creating a more sustainable future for both businesses and communities, he actively volunteers with nonprofit organizations focused on ending hunger, reducing homelessness, and promoting environmental awareness.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Kevin is an accomplished athlete who regularly competes as a long-distance runner and in Ironman races. In his spare time, he also enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and spending time in the outdoors. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Karina oversees and supports people operations, compliance strategy, and benefits administration while managing high-trust employee and client matters. She brings over eight years of experience supporting executives and high-growth organizations, with a strong foundation in organizational effectiveness, culture building, and employee relations. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from California State University, Dominguez Hills, which informs her thoughtful, people-first approach to HR. She is SHRM-CP certified and is currently pursuing her QKA I & II certifications to further deepen her expertise in benefits and compliance.
